This tour allows you to discover the best of Peruvian cuisine, our gastronomic adventure begins in a typical “Peruvian market”, where you will appreciate a wide variety of Peruvian products and enjoy unique fruits such as cherimoya, lucuma, aguaymanto, and pacae.
Next, we will have a great archaeological and mystical visit to the city of Pachacamac, which was the main sanctuary of the central coast for over 1200 years. Its temples were visited by crowds of pilgrims during the great Andean rituals. Pachacamac was a wise oracle that intervened in the lives of the powerful by predicting the future and controlling the movements of the earth.
Itinerary
Hotel Pickup
The day begins with a good breakfast at your respective hotel. Our transportation and guide will pick you up between 9:15 a.m. and 9:45 a.m.
Peruvian Market
Our gastronomic adventure starts in a typical Peruvian market, where you will appreciate a wide variety of Peruvian products and fruits.
Cooking Classes
We will visit the exclusive CALA restaurant, where you will learn to prepare the famous Pisco Sour with an expert bartender and the delicious ceviche with the guidance of a restaurant chef.
Lunch
After the cooking classes, you will enjoy a delicious lunch. Later, you will have the chance to explore the city of Lima in the afternoon.
Pucllana Pyramid
The tour continues with a panoramic view of the Pucllana Pyramid, an ancient shrine built in the 4th century A.D., considered a “sacred town” by the Incas.
Visit to Pachacamac
The city of Pachacamac, which includes temples, pyramids, and palaces, is the next destination. You will appreciate the Temple of the Sun, the Temple of Pachacamac, and the Acllahuasi or Palace of the Virgins of the Sun, among others.
Return to Your Hotel
We will return to your hotel with hearts full of awe and knowledge, carrying the memories of an unforgettable experience.
