This gastronomic tour allows you to discover the best of Peruvian cuisine. Our gastronomic adventure begins at a typical “Peruvian market”, where you can admire a wide variety of Peruvian products and enjoy unique fruits like cherimoya, lúcuma, aguaymanto, and pacae.
Finally, you will be able to see the most complete display of gold in Peru, at the Gold Museum. This private collection of gold pieces from various pre-Columbian cultures includes some pieces that are over 2000 years old.
Itinerary
Hotel Pickup
The day begins with a good breakfast at your respective hotel. Our transportation and guide will pick you up between 9:15 a.m. and 9:45 a.m.
Peruvian Market
Our gastronomic adventure begins at a typical Peruvian market, where you can admire a wide variety of Peruvian products and unique fruits.]
Cooking Classes
We will visit the exclusive CALA restaurant, where you will learn how to prepare the famous Pisco Sour with an expert bartender and the delicious ceviche with the chef of the restaurant. Afterward, you will enjoy a delicious lunch with the most representative dishes of Peruvian cuisine.
Lunch
After the cooking classes, you will enjoy a delicious lunch and later, an afternoon tour around the city of Lima.
Gold Museum Visit
At the Gold Museum of Peru, you will appreciate the masterful work of the ancient Peruvians in goldsmithing. They were specialists in repoussé, lamination, engraving, welding, and alloying gold, mainly in pre-Inca pieces.
Return to your Hotel
After a day full of activities and visits to various places, our transportation will take you back to your hotel.
