We will visit Lima in its 3 historical periods: Pre-Hispanic Lima, Colonial Lima, and Modern Lima. We will provide a panoramic view of “La Huaca Pucllana” and visit the imposing Historic Center of Lima: its palaces, mansions, churches, and plazas. We will end with a visit to the residential and financial district of San Isidro, offering an unforgettable view of the Pacific Ocean in the district of Miraflores.
We will also take a tour of the Pachacámac Citadel, and finally, we will take a glimpse of the bohemian district of Barranco.
Itinerary
Hotel Pick-up
Start your day with a good breakfast at your hotel. Our transport and guide will arrive at the agreed time to pick you up and begin the tour.
Huaca Pucllana Pyramid
Visit the great Huaca Pucllana pyramid, a pre-Inca temple from the 4th century AD, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of this impressive archaeological site.
Museum of the Central Reserve Bank
Explore the Museum of the Central Reserve Bank, admiring the exhibits of ancient Peruvian cultures and learning more about the country’s rich history.
Main Square
Enjoy a walk through the Main Square of Lima, observing the Cathedral and other historic buildings that surround this iconic square.
Lunch in Miraflores
After lunch at a restaurant in Miraflores, our guides will take you to downtown Lima to continue exploring the oldest places and buildings in the Historic Center.
Pachacamac Oracle
Participate in a guided tour of the splendid Citadel of Pachacamac, an archaeological site that reveals much about ancient Peruvian civilizations.
Barranco and Bridge of Sighs
Cross the Armendáriz Bridge to Barranco, Lima’s bohemian district par excellence, and enjoy the charming Bridge of Sighs.
Return to your Hotel
At the end of this full day of activities and visits to various places, our transport will take you back to your hotel.
