If you’ve heard the wonderful stories of Lima’s historic center, you can’t miss the fabulous and bohemian district of Barranco, a tourist destination in Lima that will surprise you.
Discover this featured tour of the Barranco district (Lima’s most bohemian neighborhood), we will visit the streets of the Barranco neighborhood, an old bohemian district where we will see the Bridge of Sighs, a beautiful wooden bridge built to cross the Bajada de los Baños, which leads to the Pacific Ocean. Both locals and visitors love enjoying the views of the nearby waterfront from the bridge. We will admire ancient mansions and bars that have been around since the 17th century.
Itinerary
Hotel Pickup
Our transport and guide will pick you up between 6:00 p.m. and 6:20 p.m. It is very important to be in the hotel lobby 10 minutes before to avoid delays. The pickup time will be coordinated in advance by email or phone.
Barranco and the Bridge of Sighs
Crossing the Armendáriz bridge, we will reach Barranco, Lima’s quintessential bohemian district. Over the years, this neighborhood has been home to intellectuals such as writer Mario Vargas Llosa, artist Fernando de Szyszlo, and singer Chabuca Granda. Barranco is a nightlife hub, known for its traditional bars and iconic nightclubs.
Dinner Show
We will enjoy an exquisite buffet dinner at the “D’Paso” restaurant. The evening will be accompanied by a spectacular show featuring the most important expressions of Peruvian dance, music, and folklore, providing you with an unforgettable cultural experience.
Return to the Hotel
After a night full of flavors and entertainment, our transport will take you back to your hotel, where you can relax and reflect on the charming experience in Barranco.
