Our tour to the Gold Museum of Peru allows you to appreciate a stunning collection of gold pieces from various pre-Columbian cultures, some over 3,000 years old. Inside, you’ll find priceless objects and jewelry made of gold, silver, and precious stones, highlighting the ornaments and items used by the Incas, children of the Sun God and monarchs of the vast Inca Empire during their peak.
The fame of Peru’s gold attracted numerous European adventurers 500 years ago, and it was a key factor in the downfall of the Inca Empire, leading to the establishment of the Viceroyalty of Peru under the Spanish Crown.
