Itinerary
Start of the “Ancient Treasure of Peru” Tour
At 09:50, we begin our journey at one of the most fascinating museums in Peru, where the largest collection of jewelry used by several rulers of pre-Columbian Peru is displayed. We will admire crowns, earrings, nose rings, jewels, masks, and vessels, all finely crafted in gold and decorated with semi-precious stones.
Visit to the Erotic Pottery Collection and Pre-Columbian Artifacts
The museum also houses an interesting collection of erotic pottery, which reflects how ancient Peruvian cultures represented their daily life in ceramics. Additionally, the museum offers a comprehensive view of 10,000 years of pre-Columbian Peruvian history.
Chronological Gallery of Pre-Columbian Peru
The gallery is organized chronologically and divided into four areas: North Coast, Central Coast, South Coast, and Andes. Through the artifacts that survived the conquest of Peru in the 16th century, visitors will gain a comprehensive understanding of the various cultures that inhabited Peru before the arrival of the conquerors.
Return to Lima
At 13:00, we will conclude the tour and return to your hotel.
