The Palomino Islands, also known as the Palominos Islets, are a group of small islands located off the Constitutional Province of Callao in Peru. They are home to a large population of sea lions and seabirds, making them a popular tourist destination.
Itinerary
Start of the Callao Islands Tour
At 09:50, we will board at El Marina Club del Callao and set sail towards the Callao Islands. We will begin by observing the yacht anchorage, warships, and merchant ships in the Callao bay. Along the way, we will pass by the “El Camotal” shoal, open sea, and continue towards the historic San Lorenzo Island, famous for its stories dating back to pre-Columbian times.
Wildlife Observation on the Route
Along the way, we will see fishing boats in action, as well as various colonies of guanay birds and the iconic Humboldt penguins.
Visit to Palomino Island
We will reach the farthest point of our tour, Palomino Island, home to a large colony of sea lions. In this natural setting, we will have the opportunity to swim in wetsuits with them, enjoying a unique and predator-free experience, an unforgettable moment full of emotions.
Return to Lima
After this experience, we will return via the cliffs and islets with impressive natural formations. At 14:00, we will begin the journey back to your hotel.
