This tour allows you to discover the best of Peruvian cuisine. Our gastronomic adventure begins in a typical “Peruvian market”, where you can appreciate a wide variety of Peruvian products and enjoy unique fruits such as cherimoya, lucuma, aguaymanto, and pacae.
After a culinary morning, we will visit Lima in its 3 historical periods, giving us a clearer perception of Peruvian culture: the Prehispanic, Colonial, and Modern eras. We will have a panoramic view of “La Huaca Pucllana“, visit the impressive Historic Center of Lima: its palaces, mansions, churches, and squares, finishing with a visit to the residential and financial area of San Isidro and an unforgettable view of the Pacific Ocean.
Itinerary
Pick Up from Your Hotel
The day begins with a good breakfast at your hotel. Our transport and guide will pick you up between 9:15 a.m. and 9:45 a.m.
Cooking Classes
We will visit the exclusive CALA restaurant, where you will learn how to prepare the famous Pisco Sour with an expert bartender and delicious ceviche with the guidance of a chef from the restaurant.
Lunch
After the cooking classes, you will enjoy a delicious lunch. Then, you can spend the afternoon exploring the city of Lima.
Huaca Pucllana Pyramid
The tour begins with a panoramic view of Huaca Pucllana, also known as the Great Pyramid, an important pre-Inca archaeological site.
Central Reserve Bank Museum
Visit the Central Reserve Bank Museum, where you can admire a collection of ancient Peruvian cultures.
Main Square
Enjoy a walk through Lima’s Main Square, observing the Cathedral, Government Palace, and the Municipal Palace. It also includes a visit to the San Francisco Monastery and its catacombs.
Return to Your Hotel
After a day filled with activities and visits to various places, our transport will take you back to your hotel.
